The standard service call is $135 and is credited toward the repair when you proceed during the same visit. Gas-heater service calls are $205, also credited, because they require the licensed gas contractor. There are no trip, weekend or fuel fees.
How much does it cost to replace a pool pump?
A pump replacement typically runs $1,150–$3,300 installed. Because Florida code requires variable-speed pumps on most pools, many replacements are variable-speed models in the $2,200–$3,300 range. A basic single-speed swap, where still allowed, starts around $1,150. Many homeowners may qualify for FPL rebates.
Should I repair or replace my pool pump?
If a pump is under about seven years old and only the motor is failing, replacing the motor—typically $600–$1,100—often makes sense.
